Statement from John Potts, Managing Director of Paritor
24th March 2020
As all of our customers are working hard to respond and adjust to the current challenging and ever changing circumstances, I wanted to update you on what we at Paritor are doing to ensure we continue to provide all of our customers with the service and support you require. I can see how busy you all are from the extra support calls and tickets and from the sharp increase in communications going through our systems. In the last week our systems have successfully managed a 900% increase in email and text traffic, delivering well over 100,000 messages, a reflection of the robustness of our infrastructure.
For over a week now the whole Paritor team have been working from their homes making effective use of Microsoft Teams to stay in touch with each other and some customers. This is something the team were already well practiced in so has been relatively easy transition and hopefully has had no impact to the service our customers are receiving. We have seen a significant increase in requests for help from customers needing to make urgent and unexpected changes to how they work. Everything from helping to set up for home working to changing schedules and billing runs, all in response to finding new ways of delivering your service. Where appropriate our developers are looking at writing changes to make new and unexpected tasks easier and robust, elsewhere our support team are helping you and your teams work through the relevant solution. As we have seen a number of recurring themes in the questions and calls from customers, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions for you to refer to which should provide solutions to many of your questions. If you cannot find the answer you need here please do not hesitate to contact us directly via Contact Us or by email at email@example.com.
I am confident that we have the team and systems in place to respond to your requirements and help ensure you continue to provide an excellent service. We will continue to do whatever we can to support you through the challenging times we all face over the next few weeks and months.
