How many members of staff can I put into Solo manager?
Manage as many teachers as you like. There's no limit.
I work for a UK Music Service. Can Solo manager help me with the DCSF survey?
Yes. Solo manager includes an analysis tool containing a library of database queries. Last time there was a survey, we designed a query especially for it. If there's another survey, we'll release another query. It won't cost you anything to use these queries.
I run a centre. Pupils come to the centre to take part in activities. Is Solo manager right for me?
If you're running a venue, you might want to look at Paritor Academy. This has functionality for billing and bookkeeping. You can see how Academy compares to Solo manager here.
Do I need to contact my telephone provider to use text messaging?
No. Text messages are sent via the internet. When you send text messages, they go through our web server and out into the world. They're logged on our server to provide you with an sms history and count how many messages remain in your account. There are no contracts or setup fees, you only need to buy your messaegs.
Will Solo manager run on my computer?
Solo manager needs Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Vista. Also, you'll need an internet connection to use Solo manager because it has text messaging and email facilities, and because it checks for updates online. Your computer needs to have 1GHz CPU, 512Mb RAM and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 to be able to run Solo manager.
