PARITOR WEB PORTAL SERVICES FOR SCHOOLS

Paritor have extended their web portal services to schools. A web portal is a website that gives personalised capabilities to users when they login.

These portals have been on offer to businesses for quite some time now. They are ideal for people who need a professionally built website without the ongoing maintenance costs and hefty design fees. Once a portal is set up, the user can login to update the site content, so there is no need to keep a web designer on a retainer for these simple maintenance tasks. This keeps costs to a minimum, and is ideal for schools.

In The Dolphin School portal pictured here, the head master puts his weekly newsletters online by copying them from Microsoft Word into a text editor, where they retain their formatting. This portal also features a PTA area, where PTA members can login to see messages, meeting notes and agendas.

The design of this website matches the school brochure, and the flash slideshows are included in the initial design fee. The head master cannot change these things, but can put whatever he likes in the white box in the centre of each page.
