CUT-OFF DATE FOR
WINDOWS NT & WINDOWS 1998

As of next academic year, Paritor software will cease to support anything earlier than windows 2000, because these are not compatible with Windows Presentation Foundation (see page 1). Users with Windows NT and Windows 1998 operating systems will not be able to use EnsembleXP.Net after 31st August 2007.

‘Microsoft stopped supporting these operating systems a year ago,’ says Simon Dutton, MD ‘but we realise that local authorities cannot always move as quickly as the commercial sector. For this reason, we have given our users an extra two years on top of Microsoft’s cut-off date.’
