'How things have developed over the last ten years! When we first started using Ensemble in 2000 we were so happy to have a system that kept historical records – one where we could pull the data we wanted to into excel! Now here we are with electronic teachers schedules and registers, automated payments, the facility to email our parents, schools and teachers and my personal favourite, Paritor Insight, where you can sort, filter and group data to your hearts content! And the promise of so much more to come…. As we move into the future, the solutions that the team at Paritor are always so happy to explore are going to prove an invaluable asset!
Jane Curry, Brighton & Hove Music, Arts and Study Support
'Norfolk Music Service has been using Ensemble for 3 years now and it is an integral part of our daily life, from workshops and weekly ensembles, to instrument hire and school billing. It is so nice to have everything we do on one system which not only saves us time but enables us to be more efficient as a service. '
Lynne Wright
'We have been using Ensemble for several years and it is an essential part of running our service. It helps us to monitor teacher staff, calculate the contracts, arrange school Service Level Agreements, manage our instrument stock and bill parents more simply and effectively than before. Administration has been reduced, income maximised and budgets can be better managed as a result.
Jon Kitching
'Paritor have been very useful in providing software and reports as needed to support data as required by the Government. This has meant that data can be extracted and used in differing ways to support the growth of the Music & Arts Service.
Debbie Bellwood
'It's hard to believe that we have been working with Paritor for 10 years. Over that period Simon and his team have put a great deal of time and effort into developing Ensemble into a sophisticated tool for the running of a music and/or performing arts service. No system is perfect, but developments such as the support tickets facility have enabled the team to respond quickly to any problems that do arise. Simon always listens to the customer's needs and keeps abreast of changes within the industry, improving the software to meet these ever changing requirements. Worcestershire Youth Music has become a far more efficient music service during the last 10 years. A large part of this is down to Ensemble and the Paritor team. We look forward to seeing what the next 10 years brings!'
Andrew Bright, Worcestershire Youth Music
'Manchester Music Service has been looking for new support software for over 3 years to replace our in-house designed system. We found Paritor Ensemble met our requirements in all aspects of Teacher Scheduling, Customer Invoicing and Data Collection. We believe it will improve the efficiency of all those administrative tasks that a large Music Service has to carry out. We were very impressed by the communication, commitment and support we have received from the Paritor team and look forward to working with them over the coming years.'
James Lyons, Manchester Music Service
'We have gone through a very thorough process with our business support team at Sheffield City Council to select the right database for our service. The Paritor System won hands down!
It is an integral part of our admin, and fully supports the services we deliver. Not only that, the team at Budleigh Salterton are helpful and friendly enabling us to make the most of the information in our system.'
'We selected Ensemble as the result of recommendations nationally from other Music Services and wanted to support a company who shared the same passion towards Performing Arts as we do and therefore understood our needs. Ensemble has reduced the need for double entry of our information on to a staff/accounts database and has led to savings in the region of £10K annually. The management information produced from Ensemble enables us to look at the service and how we are performing so that we can develop our business plan.'
Russell Charley, Coventry Performing Arts Service
'Ensemble is an essential part of our business infrastructure and is supporting our staff, schools, parents and pupils.'
Patrick Park, Staffordshire Performing Arts
'Luton Music Service looked at other programmes before choosing Ensemble. We chose this because it suited our needs and was competitively priced. Our pupil and instrument records are now much improved and the support we receive is very good. The training offered has been very useful and we are now more able to interrogate our records and respond to queries and requests for data.'
Lynda Smith, Luton Music Service
'The range and quantity of music provision in North Somerset has been developing very rapidly for a number of years; to such an extent that the administration and management processes came under severe strain. Introducing Ensemble as the central tool in the administrating of the service has had a very positive impact and effectively removed barriers to expansion and future development. Allied with exceptional product support from the Paritor team, investing in Ensemble has proved a very worthwhile undertaking.'
Mark Trego, North Somerset Music Service
'We chose Ensemble over all the comparable systems available because it seems the most exciting and innovative one to help move our Service forward.'
Angela Ball, Knowsley Music & Performing Arts
‘We finished collaborating and sending out the Summer School information for parents, and it took us 3 hours! Last year, due to diabolical reports (using a different software package) it took 3 of us 3 days (working late!!). I can't tell you how delighted we are with the way it has worked this year, a massive Thank you!!'
Karen Koflach, East Sussex Music Service
'Since switching to Academy I have found that managing the administrative side of my dance school is so much easier. I spend far less time in my office sorting Invoices, registers and keeping track of payments than with my old manual system.
Joanne Parks, JC Dance
‘I have just imported 691 pupils and payers information via your bulk upload which went extremely smoothly. I am extremely impressed at the power and flexibility of the software and believe it is going to revolutionise our whole business'
Andrew Winship, Art Theatre School
"At the moment we are still at the stage of getting to know Paritor and setting it up for our specific needs; however even though we have not yet started using it, it shows great potential for reducing the amount of time we currently spend on routine admin tasks (like creating invoices or managing timetables,) not to mention the great advantage of having just one set of client records to deal with instead of maintaining multiple documents as we do at present. The team at Paritor have been very friendly, and have always been there to help if we hit a problem with the software. It’s early days yet, but with Paritor we hope to be able to spend more time teaching and less on administration."
Luke Harty, Young Musician Hebrides
"As our music school started to grow, we needed software to help us keep track of everything and run our lessons efficiently.
Paritor was exactly what we needed. We would be lost without this software. They also provide excellent customer service and training."
Craig Berkelely, JAM Music
'Very impressed with Paritor. Great individual support received easy system to use. I use it every day looking forward to finding out more uses for my business in the future. Emailing invoices saves time and paper. Clients impressed also.

“The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s Pre-College department has chosen the Academy software solution to streamline its administrative processes. The Academy solution will help the department to move away from a heavily paper dependant solution to an efficient paperless office. The solution will also give the department an online presence where Staff and Students will have relevant and up to date information.”
