How many pupils can I put into Solo?
As many as you like. There's no limit.
Is Solo only for music teachers?
Absolutely not. It's suitable for all private teachers, regardless of subject.
Can Solo manage my charges for me?
Charge for your teaching using hourly rates or flat fees. Tell Solo what your rates are, apply them to your scheduled activities and it will calculate your bills.
Will Solo work with my country's currency?
Solo picks up the currency from your computer's settings. For example, if your computer works in Euros, so will Solo.
I get pupils to book in advance, with different payment dates. How would Solo manage this?
Lessons can be scheduled in advance (or retrospectively), and charges are calculated based on your schedules. Invoices can be raised whenever you like. Each time you raise invoices, Solo looks through the ledgers and picks up any outstanding amounts.
Can I separate my billing into terms?
You can bill termly or annually.
Solo needs Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Vista (Service Pack 1) or Windows 7. Your computer needs to have 1GHz CPU, 512Mb RAM and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 to be able to run Solo. It will also need a working internet connection. More information on the system requirements can be found here.
